You don't have to have it figured out. You just have to take one walk.

You tried before and then pushed it away.

There it is still that part of you that has hope that you could quit drinking and that life would be better.

Then Monday arrives. Same promise. Broken by Wednesday.

Living the same day over and over does something to you. It grinds the hope out. And eventually that voice starts to sound like the truth:

“This is as good as it gets for someone like me. Stay here. Stay small.”
